VALER is an online community grounded in trust, presence, and mutual care. This space exists so mothers can think clearly, speak honestly, and grow together. To protect that intention, we ask everyone who enters to honor the following principles.
Confidentiality
What is shared in VALER belongs here. Stories, reflections, and comments are not to be copied, shared, screenshot, or discussed outside this space without clear permission. Trust is what allows depth.
Respect and Care
Mothers arrive here with different stories, cultures, and capacities. We meet one another with respect and without judgment. Each experience is allowed to exist without comparison, correction, or dismissal.
Speak From Your Own Experience
This is a place for personal reflection. Write from your own perspective and lived experience. We are here to share what motherhood is teaching us, not to tell others how to mother.
Presence Before Response
Read fully before responding. Answer with attention and care. Avoid minimizing emotions, interrupting conversations, or shifting the focus away from what someone is naming.
No Unsolicited Advice
VALER is a space for connection, not fixing. Advice is welcome only when it is clearly requested. Sharing what you have lived is encouraged. Directives are not.
Quiet Presence Is Enough
You do not need to speak to belong. Reading, reflecting, and returning are meaningful forms of participation. Share when and if it feels right for you.
Stay With the Conversation
Keep comments aligned with the theme of the post and the shared experience of motherhood. This helps maintain clarity, depth, and safety for everyone.
Care for Yourself as You Share
Engage from a safe, private space whenever possible, especially when sharing personal experiences. Your well-being matters here.
Moderation
VALER is thoughtfully moderated. Content that compromises safety, respect, or trust may be removed to protect the integrity of the community.
