VALER is a writing-centered community for mothers.

It exists because motherhood is demanding, consuming, and often contradictory. The blog is the center of this space. Each post holds one part of motherhood at a time, inviting reflection rather than resolution. Mothers respond in the comments by sharing their own lived experience, in their own language, and at their own pace.

There is no right way to be here.

This is a place to speak about what is heavy, what is demanding, what is meaningful, and what often cannot be explained.

If you’re here, you are not expected to arrive put together.
